The Older People’s Group is a network of people from local voluntary and community organisations which serve the interests of older members of the community – either as their main work or as part of their work.

The Group meets quarterly and topics for discussion are chosen by group members.  Our meetings provide an arena for lively discussion and sharing of information.  We have invited speakers as well as having plenty of time for networking.  While the group can provide a channel for communication to more formal networks in the city it is not bound by anyone’s agenda but its own.

In addition to regular meetings, members receive a newsletter and updates on matters of interest.  We occasionally hold additional workshops (our partnership with the University of Portsmouth PEOPPLE Project is an example of this).

Meetings all take place at Community First for portsmouth from 10:00 – 12:00.
