Funding Central is a free smart website for all third sector organisations, from small community groups to large social enterprises, providing access to thousands of funding and finance opportunities, plus a wealth of tools and resources supporting organisations to develop sustainable income strategies appropriate to their needs. Probably the most comprehensive free source of funding information on the web. Run by NCVO.

FunderFinder www.funderfinder.org.uk
Funderfinder is an interactive programme which provides a detailed search for grants. It can be accessed online (charge may apply) or via a local agent (free). Community First for Portsmouth is a local agent (see separate page). There are two FunderFinder programmes: Groups in Need (GIN) and People in Need (PIN).

Charities Information Bureau (CIB) website. Produces monthly “funding newsletter” and “tendering opportunities” newsletters by subscription with details of new grants and tenders. Community First for Portsmouth can forward these to you upon request. The site also provides lots of free advice and resources for funding and running groups.

Excellent source of voluntary sector information on website, and e-newsletter by subscription which contains funding news (free service to VCOs).

The Sustainable Funding Project provides free advice, tools and resources, encouraging and enabling voluntary and community organisations to develop and implement a sustainable funding income strategy. Run by the NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations)

Provides good, straightforward financial information, advice & training for groups.
RAISE Networks www.raise-networks.org.uk
RAISE (Regional Action and Involvement South East) is the regional infrastructure body for the Voluntary & Community Sector in the southeast. Members can access grants-online and receive monthly email bulletins which also contain useful funding information. Membership is free.
