Community First for Portsmouth for Portsmouth is a membership organisation. Membership is currently free and open to any not-for-profit organisation active in the city.

Members elect representatives to the Board of Trustees at the AGM each year.

Members also enjoy certain benefits (reduced room hire rates, priority on course bookings etc); however, services to the Sector are provided to any Voluntary or Community group, member or not, in keeping with the ethos and purpose of the organisation. Most services are free and where charges apply these are kept to a minimum.

Membership criteria and procedures are currently under review in line with the development of our new database, MERLIN, which will provide a faster and more accurate membership service once fully implemented.
